The Birthday Present Dollhouse
This is a project I worked on with my husband, we love to make handmade gifts and decided to make a dollhouse for our little niece. I bought the 'Sugarplum' dollhouse kit made by Greenleaf. We followed most of the directions, but did make a few modifications.

Jordan test fitting the pieces
Reinforced floor alteration, glueing and patching started
Glueing finished, patching and sanding, and trim added
Patching and sanding completed, custom veneer flooring added
Custom flooring stained and sealed, also interior painting started
Exterior painting started
Custom chimney bricks added
Custom brick chimney finished with paint
More interior paint and shingles being attached
Exterior paint complete, shingles attached and sealed, custom doorknob attached and starting on furniture

Finally… Illustration samples from the book Baba's Babushka by Marion Mutala
This is the project that had consumed pretty much all of my creative time over the summer and fall of this year. It was a lovely challenge and really helped me to grow as an artist. I can not wait for another opportunity to do book illustration work again :)

My baby turned 1 year old! (September 2012)
Well the baby isn't so small any more. We had a fabulous time celebrating
